A Tiny Farmhouse Guest Room

A Tiny Farmhouse Guest Room

Hi. It’s me. The long lost blogger. I’m still alive. I’ve always been really really bad at creating balance in my life, and I’m here to tell you that I’m still really bad at it. I recently started a new job (that I totally LOVE) and while I only a few days a week, I can’t seem to find the time to blog in between those days, maintaining my Etsy shop, and my family..

Maybe in 2016 I’ll finally strike that balance I’ve been searching for the last 13 years. 🙂

I thought I’d share a few pictures of our guest room this Christmas. It’s a quaint little space that no guests actually ever sleep in. It’s more of a weekend bed for my kids to have slumber parties in.

IMG_0734edit IMG_0719editI hung my daughters first Christmas dress on the door of the closet for some nostalgia.

IMG_0727editI made the body pillow with some left over red and white ticking I had. I had to hand sew the entire thing because I did something to my sewing machine that I can’t seem to undo.

Just some simple Farmhouse Christmas touches that I really love.
