And Then There Were Three……Trees, That Is!

And Then There Were Three……Trees, That Is!

I’ve made it a goal to have a Tree in every “main” room of our house. You see, I want to see the twinkle of the lights no matter where I’m sitting. Ridiculous? Probably. But I’m ok with my crazy. This year we’ve got our Buffalo Check Tree in the Family Room – which I blogged about here.   I also put a Tree in the Living Room and then in the Office. Our house is only about 1800 square feet and all three of these trees are on the main level of our home….which means they’re all about 15 feet from each other! Ha! Typing that makes me realize how ridiculous it probably is.

Today, lets talk about the tree in the Living Room and the Office!

As much as I love my Buffalo Check Tree, I think I can safely say that the tree in my Living Room is my favorite tree ever. Of all time. Ever. This tree is new to me this year – (See sources below for direct link). It’s a flocked pre-lit 7.5 footer….and honestly. It’s probably one of the nicest trees I’ve ever owned!

I kept it SUPER simple – that’s the beauty of a flocked tree. You don’t need to do much to pack a big ol’ punch! I added several Lamb’s Ear and lighter green florals, some silver accents and a crocheted ribbon. That’s it! It’s just so simple. the décor throughout is just as simple, I suppose. I just added some live greenery here and there. Am I becoming a minimalist? No way.

In the Office, I went bolder! Obviously, I love neutral décor and trees…but I also love a traditional Red Tree! This is another new tree to me this year – it’s a flocked 6 footer! The red & white ticking ribbon was the initial inspiration for this tree. I didn’t really care what else went on it, as long as the ticking ribbon fit in.

Most of the items in this tree I already had. It’s so whimsical, pretty much anything worked!
