So, I’ve been teasing y’all on Instagram with my secret….which has been quite thrilling. I’ve heard some interesting guesses…..all of which have been wrong. 🙂
If you’ve been following me since the beginning, you probably have caught on by now that I love to dream. I’ve always been a dreamer…..and beyond that, I’ve always been a risk taker. Well, not always…..but for the better half of my adult life. Not all of my risks have paid off….in fact, not many of them have….lol But I jump anyway. It’s life and I love it!
My company, Gable Lane is celebrating it’s ONE YEAR Anniversary (WOOOT!!!!). The past year has been crazy. Emphasis on crazy, please. Despite the craziness, about six weeks ago, I started feeling STRONGLY that I was ready for the next step. Really really really ready.
Brick & Mortar!
I began praying about it, and then watched as God opened and closed doors! When the moments of paralyzing fear crept in, God quickly gave me peace so I could press on. I knew this was exactly the next step for me.
After searching and searching, I found the right place.
The new home of Gable Lane.
We will be operating our current internet sales out of the same building (yay!) while the rest of the building will function as our NEW Retail Space.
Is this real life?
I’m honestly not sure.
I have moments of utter surrealness. I made that word up.
We have been SO BUSY preparing for this new adventure. And it’s really only just begun!
In approximately 5 weeks we will open the doors for the first time to the public.
What. A. Thrill.
A little about our new Retail Space – We will be offering Collections of Old & New! Mixing in our current products that we sell online with authentic vintage decor and antiques! Lots of Farmhouse, Rustic goodness!
But first. The old girl needs a little tune up.
The building. Not me. Ish.
She needs a lot of paint to start with. As in….like 30 gallons. Give or take. Oy.
We all know my LOVE for historical buildings. Well it was only fitting that I find something old and amazing for our new Store!
This is an old Opera House and has character for days.
Ok! You’ll have to wait to see more until we get some work done! I’ll be blogging the entire transformation!!
And Oh. The transformation it will be!! 🙂
